Collection of candles
One of my mother’s hobbies is collecting different items especially rare and unique items. In fact, she devoted a room in the house for her collections alone. She has a collection of Christmas items which she brings out every time Christmas season will come. It is one much awaited time in a year for the family since decorating the house is a family bonding activity. She also has a collection of flower vases since she really loves flowers and she placed them all over the house. One thing that is amazing is that she do not use plastic flowers and only fresh one that she harvest from her own garden. Another pride of her collections is her candles; which range from the smallest to the biggest. Believe me when I say collection of candles, I mean wide range collection of candles which she started when she was still in college. That is why all sort, type and shape of candles you will surely find in her collections. Most are just locally made and produced, but there are also those that came from abroad and that really cost much. Of course, they are not lighted since their mere purpose is just to be part of her display and exhibit. On the first place, I also do not want hundred of dollars worth of candles just melt and evaporate in the air. There are other items still in mom’s list of collections and I keep on wondering what else awaits to be included in it.
